Biography

Amir Akhavan received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran, in 2008, the M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2016. From Sep. 2017 to Aug. 2018 he has been a Faculty Member with Hamedan University of Technology, Hamedan, Iran. Since 2018, he has been a Faculty Member with Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran. The principal focus of his research is neuroscience and non-invasive deep brain stimulation i.e. transcranial electrical and ultrasound stimulation. His research interests include Biomedical Signal Processing, Array Signal Processing, Medical Imaging Systems, Neuromodulation and Sparse Representation Models.
